I read the articles "municipal budget is to lean" and "Jackson Officials abandon proposal to hike fees" along with the accompanying Comments in the Asbury Park Press. It appears that Raymond Cattanar and Peter Grzlak are laying the ground work for entering the race for seats on the Town Council.
Both are leaders of the Jackson Tax Payer Association [are there any other members?]. Mr. Grzelak has attacked the "Council Budget Committee" [ I assume he means the Citizens Budget Advisory Committee] and 2 of the Jackson Republican Club endorsements.
It will be interesting to see if Mr. Grzelak who has endlessly been against equal bathroom facilities for young woman and Mr Cattonar who has championed bankruptcy for Jackson can raise the dollars and gather the support to mount an effective campaign.
