Subject Arrested for Reported Robbery:

On Monday May 28, 2012 at approximately 4:00 am, it was reported to Jackson Police that a Robbery had occurred in the parking lot of the 7-11 convenience store on West Countyline Road.

A female reported that she was parked in the 7-11 parking lot and was speaking to a male subject who was known to her as he was standing outside the driver window of her car. During this time, it was reported that the male subject punched the victim in the head and took approximately $600 in cash from her. A suspect was later identified and detectives were notified.

On June 14, a suspect was placed under arrest for the incident.

Arrested:
Joshua Mcdaniel, age 22 of Lakewood, NJ.

Mr. Mcdaniel was charged with Robbery and bail was set at $100,000.00. He was lodged in Ocean County Jail.

Police Officers Fred Meabe and Jeff Henba responded to the incident.
Detective Campbell Brown investigated.

Stabbing Reported to Police:

On Sunday June 17, 2012 at approximately 1:50 am, Police Officers responded to an address on Castle Avenue on a reported stabbing.

Upon arriving, officers discovered a 21 year old male who was suffering from multiple stab wounds. The male was transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center by First Aid for treatment.
